French Aviation Manufacturer Aura Aero Selects Volusia County for Manufacturing Facility

AURA AERO Inc., the French design and manufacturer of next-generation electric aircraft has announced its intent to build a 500,000 square-foot manufacturing and assembly plant in Volusia County at Daytona Beach International Airport. The announcement of the selection to develop a presence in the U.S. follows AURA AERO’s decision in July to narrow down the location of the new facility to the State of Florida. The facility will create more than 1,000 high-valued jobs in the region, advancing the aerospace and aviation industry.
